Scarborough slams GOP for Biden crime family narrative.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough Slams Republicans for Pushing Empty Narrative

“When you’re preaching, you need a message that’s not gonna put the people in the choir behind you to sleep,”

– Joe Scarborough

On Monday, Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, criticized Republicans for pushing an empty narrative about alleged criminal activity within President Joe Biden’s family. Scarborough argued that voters do not care about this narrative and that Republicans need to focus on more pressing issues.

Republicans’ Focus on the “Biden Crime Family”

Scarborough specifically called out Republicans’ focus on the “Biden crime family” and Hunter Biden’s laptop as prime examples of this empty narrative. He argued that if there is evidence of criminal activity, then Biden should be arrested and charged. However, Republicans keep pushing this narrative without finding any evidence, which only ends up being an embarrassment for them.

Most Americans do not care about this narrative, according to Scarborough. He joked that the only people who care are “the wife of a Supreme Court justice that’s talking about putting the Biden crime family on barges outside of Gitmo.”

Sharpton Agrees

The Rev. Al Sharpton, who was a guest on the show, agreed with Scarborough’s sentiment. He argued that Republicans appear tone-deaf and that pushing a narrative without evidence takes away from their credibility.

“People aren’t tuned in,” Sharpton said. “If I’m preaching, [and] not only is the choir sleeping behind me, they start snoring, I might want to get a different message.”

It’s clear that Scarborough and Sharpton believe that Republicans need to focus on more pressing issues if they want to engage voters and maintain their credibility.
