Actor Chris Pratt has a message for couples who have found their “great partner” – don’t wait to start a family. In an interview with Men’s Journal, Pratt shared his thoughts on fatherhood and the joys it brings.

Contradicting the common advice to not rush into having kids, Pratt said, “I personally disagree. Rush. Have them. Of course, make sure you find a great partner but don’t wait.”

Pratt recalled a conversation with actor Adam Sandler, who told him, “Every day you wait is a day they don’t get to have you in their life.”

According to Pratt, having kids at a younger age allows for more time spent together. He described the experience as “wild” and highlighted how it brings a fresh perspective to life.

Pratt, who was previously married to actress Anna Farris, welcomed a son in 2012. After their divorce in 2018, Pratt found love again with Katherine Schwarzenegger, and the couple now has two little girls.

Reflecting on his own journey, Pratt shared how he felt “really broken” before meeting Katherine. He emphasized the importance of faith and finding a higher power during tough times.

“For me, [it was] my own journey finding a higher power and leaning on that and feeling like, ‘Please save me,’ and feeling saved,” Pratt said. “And then shortly later, [I met] the woman of my dreams.”
