Huge crowd protests Dodgers’ support for anti-Christian LGBT organization.
The Dodgers’ Controversial Decision Sparks Outcry from Christians
The Los Angeles Dodgers are facing backlash for their decision to honor an anti-Christian LGBT group, but Christians are not staying silent.
Last month, the Dodgers announced their plans to use their “Pride Night” as an opportunity to honor the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” a drag queen group known for mocking Christians.
Not only do they ridicule Catholic nuns, but they also engage in lewd and obscene performances that disrespect the beliefs of millions of Catholics worldwide.
Initially, the Dodgers rescinded their invitation to the group due to public outcry. However, under pressure from the LGBT community, they decided to reinvite them. Despite the strong opposition from conservative Christians, the team is moving forward with their recognition of the group.
Despite this blatant display of anti-Catholic bigotry, Catholics, other Christians, and people of goodwill are refusing to back down. They are making their voices heard and letting the Dodgers know how they feel.
CatholicVote, the Catholic advocacy group that spearheaded the initial boycott of the Dodgers, released an ad in Los Angeles reminding the team of their history of standing up against racism. They risk tarnishing their reputation by honoring a group that promotes hate.

Protesters gathered outside Dodger Stadium on Friday to peacefully and prayerfully demonstrate against this blasphemy.
Catholics and other Christians stood together, praying and singing hymns to honor God and seek forgiveness for the Dodgers’ offensive actions.

Journalist Jack Posobiec led the crowd in reciting the Lord’s Prayer in Latin, emphasizing the plea to be delivered from evil. He reminded everyone that God has promised to free us from sin.
“We have all gathered here today … to perform an exorcism. We need to exorcise Dodger Stadium.”

Not only Christians, but also Jews and people of other faiths joined the rally to protest this act of bigotry. A Jewish rabbi addressed the crowd, expressing his concern about being anti-Catholic and anti-religion.
“If you are anti-Catholic, you’re anti-religion, you’re anti-God, I got a problem with that”

The response to the Dodgers’ blasphemous decision gives hope to Christians. Despite the media and elites’ anti-Christian stance, there are still people of goodwill who are willing to stand up for what is right.
In an increasingly secular world, Christians may sometimes feel like they are fighting a losing battle against evil. However, the prayer rally serves as a reminder that they are not alone. Their fellow believers and God are with them every step of the way.
