Biden assisted off stage after confusing comment about late Queen of England.
Joe Biden’s Baffling Remark and Awkward Exit
Joe Biden’s embarrassing gaffes seem to be getting stranger by the day, and his most recent one was particularly bizarre.
During a speech on gun control at the National Safety Communities Summit in Connecticut, Biden went off on his usual ramblings and disconnected thoughts. However, it was his closing remark that left everyone puzzled.
As he was about to leave the stage, Biden thanked the crowd and said, “God save the queen, man.”

This remark about the queen is baffling for two reasons. First, Biden is most likely referring to Queen Elizabeth II of England, who passed away nine months ago. This was a major news story that dominated headlines for weeks. Biden even attended her funeral and his wife attended the coronation of the new king, Charles III. So, Biden should be aware that the new saying is “God save the king.”
Second, even if the queen were still alive, there is no reason for Biden to include this in his speech. After all, America has no monarch, and the phrase “God save the queen” is distinctly British.
What makes this even more perplexing is that Biden’s speech was about gun control, with no connection to England or the queen whatsoever.
But the bizarre scene didn’t end there. After the gaffe, Biden seemed disoriented and unsure of where to exit. He pointed at people off-stage, asking for guidance.
Eventually, an aide came to his rescue and helped him off, while Biden awkwardly jogged across the stage to make his exit.
These embarrassing moments are a bad look for Biden. While the American people have become accustomed to his gaffes and stumbling over words, this incident highlights his age catching up to him in every possible way.
Biden’s aging brain, as evidenced by his remark about the queen, and his aging body, as evidenced by needing assistance to leave the stage, raise legitimate concerns about his fitness for the role of President.
In a different context, these slip-ups might be seen as charming for a grandfather figure. However, as the President of the United States, there is no higher or more important position.
It’s time for Congress to seriously consider whether Biden should remain in office. This situation is not beneficial for the country or for Biden himself.
