Republican Presidential Hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy Makes an Impact at Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference
Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy made a powerful appearance at Friday’s Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference. The conference, titled “Road to Majority,” brought together all 14 candidates vying for the Republican nomination, with the exception of Donald Trump, who is scheduled to speak on the final day of the conference.
In an interview with The Washington Examiner’s Christy Matino, Ramaswamy shared his strategy for success. “My approach is to fearlessly speak the truth and believe that it is the winning political strategy,” he said. “I believe that the upcoming debate stage will be crucial. I predict that it will completely change the dynamics of this race starting this fall.”
The Republican National Committee has set a requirement that only candidates polling at a minimum of 1% will be allowed on the debate stage. Currently, Trump holds a commanding lead with 47%, followed by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) at 26% and former Vice President Mike Pence at 9%, according to the latest Fox News poll. Ramaswamy is just 3% behind former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and Christie.
Ramaswamy expressed his vision of winning beyond just the election. “To me, winning means leading this nation through a revival over an eight-year, two-term period,” he explained. “In 1980, we had the Reagan revolution. I like to joke that we will have the Ramaswamy revolution in 2024.”
