Trump Vows to Protect Children and Parents’ Rights

Former President Donald Trump issued a powerful statement against doctors performing transgender surgeries on children, expressing his determination to sign a law prohibiting the procedure.

Speaking at a Faith and Freedom Coalition event, Trump passionately stated, “It’s so ridiculous. It’s so horrible and so ridiculous. I will keep men out of women’s sports.”

But he didn’t stop there. Trump made a firm promise, saying, “And I will sign a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states. Prohibited.”

Trump also emphasized the importance of a strong military, stating, “On day one, I will reinstate the Trump ban on transgenders in the military. They have to be powerful. They have to be strong, especially when you see what’s happening in the world today, not catering to radical gender ideology.”

Addressing another contentious issue, Trump pledged to cut federal funding to schools promoting Marxist-inspired critical race theory. He also vowed to reduce funding for schools that force inappropriate political, sexual, or racial content onto children.

Trump exclaimed, “Can you believe this? Can you imagine saying this 10 or 15 years ago? I will fight for parents’ rights. I will fight for the direct election of school principals by the parents. If any principal is not getting the job done, the parents should be able to fire them immediately and select someone who will.”

Furthermore, Trump declared that he would not provide funding to any school with vaccine or mask mandates from kindergarten to college.

While Trump’s 2016 campaign primarily focused on issues like illegal immigration, taxes, manufacturing, and the economy, his rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, has been more vocal about social issues. DeSantis recently signed a bill in Florida that prohibits teachers from discussing sexual orientation or gender issues with young children.

Several Republican-led states have already passed laws or rules to restrict transgender medical procedures and drugs for minors, and other states are considering similar measures.
