Police in Massachusetts have discovered a woman alive after being trapped in mud at a state park for several days.
Woman Rescued After Being Stuck in Mud for Three Days in Massachusetts State Park
A thrilling rescue mission unfolded in Borderland State Park, a sprawling 1,800-acre park south of Boston, when a woman named Emma Tetewsky was found alive after being trapped in the mud for three days. The incredible story began when Tetewsky’s family reported her missing on June 27, and a search operation was launched.
Days into the search, hikers passing by heard Tetewsky’s cries for help and immediately alerted the authorities. The Easton Police, utilizing ATV’s, bravely ventured into the swampy area to reach Tetewsky, who was conscious and alert despite her ordeal. She was then transported to a local hospital for observation.
Tetewsky’s rescue was made possible by the heroic efforts of the Easton Police Department, the Easton Fire Department, the Stoughton Fire Department, Massachusetts State Police, METRO-LEC, the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Department, and the Quincy Police Department, all working together to bring her to safety.

Easton Police Chief Keith Boone commended his officers for their immediate response and unwavering determination to save Tetewsky. He expressed his gratitude, stating, “Their immediate action resulted in saving Emma Tetewsky.”
Stoughton Police Chief Donna M. McNamara also expressed her gratitude to the public for their assistance, acknowledging that the successful rescue would not have been possible without their help.
Borderland State Park, nestled near the towns of Sharon and Easton, boasts six picturesque ponds, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
After being pulled from the treacherous mud, Tetewsky was swiftly taken to Brockton’s Good Samaritan Hospital for further medical attention.
