Russia leaks photos of Wagner chief Prigozhin in different disguises following house raid.
Russian Authorities Leak Photos of Wagner Chief Yevgeny Prigozhin in Disguises
Russian security agents recently conducted a raid on the extravagant mansion of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the former ally of Vladimir Putin and head of the Wagner Group. The raid uncovered a treasure trove of intriguing items, including gold bars, stacks of foreign currency, weapons, ammunition, a massive sledgehammer, a chilling photo of severed heads, a stuffed alligator, and even a closet filled with wigs.
It became apparent why Prigozhin had such an extensive collection of wigs when various outlets linked to the Russian government leaked images of him donning different disguises. These disguises ranged from fake bears to military uniforms, revealing the extent of Prigozhin’s efforts to conceal his identity.
Why the UFO Whistleblowers Are Stirring Up Mixed Reactions
The leaked photos were accompanied by captions, identifying the supposed roles of each disguise. According to the Release the Kraken Telegram channel, Prigozhin was depicted as an employee of the Sudanese Ministry of Defense, a diplomat’s assistant from Abu Dhabi, a senior lieutenant from Benghazi, a colonel from Tripoli, a merchant from Syria, and even a field commander.
These images sparked a wave of humor on social media platforms in both Russia and the West, with many drawing comparisons between Prigozhin’s appearance and the character from Sacha Baron Cohen’s 2011 film, The Dictator.
The footage and images from the raid were likely obtained from the “palace” of Prigozhin, portions of which were showcased on Russian state television. Izvestia released some of the raid footage, which was later obtained by the Daily Mail.
Among the peculiar rooms discovered in Prigozhin’s residence were a dedicated prayer room adorned with Orthodox Christian icons and a medical room.
After his failed mutiny last month, Prigozhin was allowed to leave Russia for exile in Belarus. However, Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko recently revealed that the Wagner chief was currently back in Russia, contradicting previous reports. Lukashenko stated that Prigozhin was in St. Petersburg or possibly Moscow, but not within the territory of Belarus.
During a press conference, Lukashenko confirmed that Prigozhin was not in prison and that he had recently spoken to him over the phone.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov stated that the Russian government was unaware of Prigozhin’s whereabouts, as they do not track him and have no intention of doing so.
