Trump responds to cocaine discovery in White House.
Former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back his criticism of the current president and his family after cocaine was discovered in the West Wing lobby of the White House.
Trump took to Truth Social on July 6 to express his frustration, demanding to see the White House security tapes that would reveal the source of the cocaine. He also suggested that the cocaine was likely intended for Hunter and Joe Biden, but predicted that the media would downplay the incident.
The cocaine was indeed found in the White House on July 3, and the U.S. Secret Service confirmed that it was likely brought in by someone with authorized access to the building. This discovery immediately sparked speculation about Hunter Biden’s involvement, given his history of drug use.
In his memoir, “Beautiful Things,” Hunter Biden openly admitted to struggling with crack cocaine addiction for several years. Additionally, photos from his abandoned laptop, which were recently published, showed him in compromising situations surrounded by drug paraphernalia.
Uncovering the Culprit
In an interview with The Epoch Times on July 5, Anthony Guglielmi, chief of communications for the U.S. Secret Service, revealed that they had not yet identified the individual responsible for bringing the cocaine into the White House. The drug was found in a restricted area where authorized personnel, guests, media, and staff gather during security screenings.
Former President Trump even questioned whether special counsel Jack Smith, who was appointed to oversee investigations into Trump, was present in the area where the cocaine was found.
When asked about potential prosecution for the culprit, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre avoided giving a direct answer, stating that she wouldn’t engage in hypotheticals. She did confirm that President Biden and his family were not at the White House when the cocaine was discovered.
Ensuring White House Security
Concerned about the presence of cocaine in the White House, Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) is urging the Secret Service to take action.
