Former GOP Rep. Mayra Flores Announces Congressional Bid
Former GOP Representative Mayra Flores has officially announced her candidacy for her previous congressional seat. This comes just months after her loss in the general election against Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX).
Flores made the exciting announcement during a recent appearance on Fox News. She originally won the seat in a special election held in 2022 but unfortunately lost in the subsequent general election due to district redrawing.
