Geraldo fired from Fox News, joins ‘The View’.

Geraldo Rivera Returns to the Airwaves on “The View”

Geraldo Rivera, the former resident liberal on Fox News’ “The Five” and “Hannity,” is making a comeback. After being cut by Fox News at the end of June following a two-decade stint with the network, Rivera announced on Twitter that he will be joining the ladies of ABC’s “The View” on Thursday.

While some of his followers were not surprised by the news, commenting that he would fit right in on the notoriously far-left show, Rivera’s return to television has generated mixed reactions.

Rivera’s departure from Fox News came after tension between him and network host Greg Gutfeld. He had also stirred controversy by attacking Tucker Carlson online after Carlson was ousted by the network.

This tweet sparked a Twitter exchange between Rivera and Gutfeld.

A week later, Rivera announced that his appearances on “The Five” had been canceled. He later expressed his willingness to leave Fox News voluntarily and criticized the network for not fighting to keep him.

Despite contemplating retirement and posting a shirtless image of himself, Rivera is now set to make his return on “The View.”

“The View” recently returned to the air after a temporary hiatus, and Rivera’s appearance on the show is highly anticipated.
