MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski urges Biden staff to improve.

Mika Brzezinski Calls on Biden’s Staff to Improve Care for the President

MSNBC news anchor Mika Brzezinski has passionately urged President Joe Biden’s staff to step up their efforts in taking care of the president, particularly in light of recent onstage accidents. Brzezinski expressed her concern on Wednesday, stating that she believes the staff “doesn’t do a good job” in assisting Biden. While acknowledging Biden’s elderly age of 80, she emphasized the need for his staff to ensure that he doesn’t have any mishaps, as any such incidents would be endlessly replayed.

“Do a Better Job,” Urges Brzezinski

Brzezinski didn’t hold back in her plea, stating, “So do a better job, because you can’t have these video images of the president tripping or going the wrong way. It’s not going to work in this presidency, because his age is going to be a factor.”

This comment from Brzezinski comes after President Biden has experienced multiple instances of tripping or falling throughout his presidency. The most recent incident occurred in June when he fell onstage after presenting the final diploma at the United States Air Force Academy graduation ceremony in Colorado. Another fall took place in 2022 during a bike ride in Delaware.

Despite these incidents, Brzezinski firmly believes that Biden is capable of handling the presidency. She expressed frustration, saying, “You have his schedule and where he goes. It makes me mad.”

Concerns and Reactions

The repeated occurrences of Biden’s falls have raised concerns about his ability to run for president. Former President Donald Trump, who is seeking reelection in 2024, expressed his hope that Biden wasn’t injured in his most recent fall. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, also a presidential candidate, described the June fall as symbolic of the state of the country.

Biden, who celebrated his 80th birthday in November last year, is the oldest president to ever be elected. He is currently running for reelection in the 2024 presidential election. A recent survey conducted by the Pew Research Center revealed that 49% of voters believe the ideal age range for a president is in their 50s.
