Pennsylvania authorities have tragically confirmed the deaths of at least three individuals in the wake of severe flooding. The Washington Crossing area in Upper Makefield Township was the site where the bodies of two women and one man were recovered on Saturday.

Rescue efforts were initiated earlier that morning by officials in Bucks County, as the region experienced a deluge of around five inches of rain. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D) took to Twitter on Saturday morning to provide affected residents with information on how to seek in-person assistance.
