Daily Wire ‍host Matt ‌Walsh ⁢went ⁣viral‍ over the⁢ weekend after ⁣Disney‍ admitted ‍that ⁤the⁢ images ‍reportedly⁢ leaked from the live-action‍ “Snow White”⁣ remake are genuine after the⁤ company initially​ appeared⁤ to ⁣deny ‍it.

Walsh tweeted on Sunday⁢ to his⁤ 2.3 million followers ⁢a⁤ headline from A.V. ​Club, which ‍read, “Disney now says those ⁤‘Snow White’ ⁢photos are ⁣simply ‘not⁣ official.’” And an ⁢update posted ⁣in the ⁣report ⁤read, “After initially⁣ telling⁣ The​ Daily Beast that⁤ the⁢ ‘Snow​ White’ set photos were fake, ⁤a spokesperson⁤ now⁣ says that the​ photos are ⁤in‍ fact‌ from the​ production, but are not official‌ photos. We ⁤regret ‌the‍ error (and, ‌in our ⁢mind, they still look pretty⁢ fake).​ The following story has⁣ been updated to ‌reflect​ this‌ fact.’”

Walsh⁤ slammed the ⁤first⁤ images ⁢leaked ‍from ⁢the​ set‌ for‌ the ⁤Disney remake, ⁢saying ​it​ is ​the most obvious ⁢example⁣ of ⁣“cultural‍ appropriation.” One ‍photo showed a ​Hispanic ⁢lead. Another ‌featured‍ the ‌lead, ‍followed​ by ⁢seven culturally⁤ diverse companions.

“Snow ⁤White is a ⁣19th​ century German ⁣fairy tale,” Walsh tweeted. “The⁤ name literally refers to‍ the ⁣character’s skin​ color.”
