Country Music ⁢Singer Miranda⁢ Lambert Scolds Fans for ‌Selfie Obsession⁤ During Concert

Country music sensation Miranda Lambert⁤ recently made headlines when she paused her ⁤performance to‍ call out⁤ fans⁤ who ⁣were⁤ more interested in taking ‍selfies than enjoying the music. However, her scolding ‍didn’t go⁣ over well on⁤ social media, where she faced criticism⁤ for ⁢her‍ actions.

Lambert was in⁢ the middle of⁤ singing her hit ⁣song “Tin ⁤Man” when⁢ she decided‍ to address the‌ crowd’s behavior. ‍”I’m ⁤gonna stop right‍ here for ⁤a sec… I’m sorry,” ⁣she said, ⁤halting her⁤ performance.

‘I don’t like‌ it – at ⁤all. We’re here to hear ‌some country‍ music, and⁢ I’m ‌singing some ⁣country‌ damn music!’

“These girls are‍ worried about their selfie⁤ and not listening to the song. It’s ⁣pissing ⁤me ‍off a little ⁣bit,”⁤ Lambert expressed her ⁤frustration. “Sorry, I don’t like it —⁢ at all. We’re here to hear some⁣ country music tonight. ‍I’m singing some‍ country damn music,” she added.

She⁢ even⁢ went as ‌far as telling ⁤some fans to⁢ sit down and asked, “Shall⁤ we ‍start ⁢again?”

With the sermonette over,⁣ she ‌returned to the song.‍ However, a video ‍captured at least‍ one fan quickly leaving ⁤the ‌venue, possibly in response ‍to ‍Lambert’s scolding.

On social media, the‍ jury was ⁤decidedly against‍ the singer. ‍One ⁢TikTok comment compared‌ her to a teacher‌ saying,⁤ “I’ll wait.” On Twitter, one user told ⁤Lambert to “get over‍ yourself,” while another deemed her scolding “completely uncalled for.”

I‌ mean, whether you like it or not, they paid their⁢ money ⁤for⁤ the tickets. You’re gonna call ⁢them out for taking‍ a ⁢picture to ⁣capture a moment for their memories? Sorry, get over‌ yourself Miranda Lambert.

Adela Calin, a social media influencer, shared ⁤her experience of being⁣ scolded by‍ Lambert when‌ she and her⁢ friends took⁣ a ‍quick group ‍selfie. “It⁢ was⁤ 30 ‌seconds at most,” Calin explained. ⁤”We took the picture quickly and were going ‌to sit back‍ down.”

When People reached⁤ out ‌for comment, Lambert’s⁣ representative remained silent.
