Hunter Biden whistleblower ‘disgusted’ by Democrats and liberal media, according to Comer.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) believes Democrats and the left-leaning media have emboldened one of the whistleblowers set to testify about the Hunter Biden investigation.

The unnamed IRS agent, along with supervisory special agent Gary Shapley, alleged that investigators leading the Hunter Biden case deliberately delayed the inquiry, potentially protecting President Joe Biden’s son from more serious charges.
“Whistleblower X” self-identified as a Democrat who strives to keep politics out of their work during a closed-door meeting with the House Ways and Means Committee.
All the Democrats on the Ways and Means Committee voted to keep the testimony secret, but were overruled by the Republicans. Ranking member Richard Neal (D-MA) attributed the objection to the ”process” rather than the disclosure itself.
So far, the investigation into Hunter Biden has resulted in a plea deal for tax and gun violations, potentially keeping him out of prison. A hearing on the agreement is scheduled for July 26.
Biden’s attorney, Chris Clark, has vehemently denied any suggestion that the investigation was not thorough or biased in favor of his client.
Comer, who has faced blowback from Democrats after another whistleblower he touted, Gal Luft, was indicted on federal charges, argued that his colleagues across the aisle have a double standard when it comes to whistleblowers.
He stated, “The Democrat Party always claims they protect federal employees, unless these officials are blowing the whistle on one of them.” Comer acknowledged that while some whistleblowers may not be credible, the IRS whistleblowers in this case have impeccable records and deserve to be heard.
