“I recently heard an elected official claim that I must be more credible because I am a gay Democrat married to a man,” the whistleblower states without revealing the official’s identity.
“My credibility is not determined by my sexual orientation or political beliefs,” he adds.
“I have always been raised to do what is right. Some have accused me of betraying the Democratic Party and causing further division in our society,” the whistleblower explains. “I urge you to consider that if you were in my position, with the facts as I have presented them, you would do the same thing, regardless of your political affiliation.”
