Chansley, known for his iconic costume of a two-horned helmet, face paint, and an American flag-topped spear, delves into politics, spirituality, and the ideology behind ”Q.” He firmly believes that “Q” is a creation of the highest levels of U.S. military intelligence, originating from the dark web with the intention of establishing a new world order.
Chansley faced multiple charges, including civil disorder and obstruction of an official proceeding, for his actions on January 6. After pleading guilty to obstructing an official proceeding, he was sentenced to 41 months in prison in November 2021.
However, Chansley’s sentence was cut short when previously withheld security footage emerged, showing Capitol Police officers seemingly escorting him throughout the building. His attorney has filed a motion to vacate his conviction, limiting Chansley’s discussion of January 6 while the matter is pending.
During the interview, Chansley opens up about his prison experiences and how his faith in God helped him endure the darkest moments, including 10 months of solitary confinement in an Alexandria, Virginia, prison cell.
Chansley shares, ”I’m in a cell. I’m freaking out. I’m like, what the hell? You know, ’God, show me you’re with me.'” He received letters with biblical verses that aligned with his prayers and messages of support from people who questioned the media’s narrative and offered prayers.

After initially apologizing for his involvement in the Capitol incident, Chansley now expresses regret over his guilty plea, following his early release from prison.
