RFK Jr.’s speech triumphs despite Dems’ attempt to silence him.

In ⁣a Paradoxical House Session, Democrats Attempt to Censor ⁢RFK Jr.’s Speech

In a paradoxical House session on Thursday, House‍ Democrats made a desperate attempt to censor Robert‌ F. Kennedy Jr.’s speech at a meeting addressing censorship and targeting concerns. The session, which resembled an episode of “The⁤ Twilight ⁣Zone,” was intended to⁤ discuss the weaponization of the federal government.

Despite running for president against Joe Biden, Kennedy was invited by Republicans to testify at the House Judiciary Subcommittee. However, during the hearing, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz moved⁢ to take the ‌hearing into executive session, citing Kennedy’s alleged “antisemitic and anti-Asian comments.”

In addition to attempting to censor Kennedy, Democrats also tried to limit his speaking time, questioning why he should be given 10 minutes‍ when ⁢witnesses usually receive five minutes.

Despite their efforts, Schultz’s attempt to halt the hearing and transition to an executive session was defeated by the Republican majority within the committee. During the vote, several Democrats opposed the ⁣GOP’s rejection of Schultz’s‍ motion, uttering phrases like “no to ‌hate speech.”

In his remarks, Kennedy criticized ⁣the Democrats’ attempts‍ to censor his ⁤speech and ⁣his run for‍ the White House. He also highlighted the censorship ⁢he faced on YouTube, where his speech announcing his candidacy was cut off after five minutes, even though it did not discuss vaccines.

Kennedy waved a‌ letter signed by 102 fellow Democrats, calling it an attempt‍ to “censor a censorship hearing.” He emphasized that censorship‌ goes ⁤against ‌the principles of democracy⁢ and cited historical figures such as his father, his uncle, FDR, Harry ⁢Truman, and Thomas Jefferson who would find it‌ appalling.

Kennedy argued that a new word, “malinformation,” was invented to censor people like him because there was no misinformation on his platform. He defined “malinformation” as information that is ⁢true but ‌inconvenient to the⁢ government.

Kennedy’s organization, Children’s Health Defense, has filed a lawsuit against various news organizations, including The Associated Press, for alleged antitrust violations related to their actions to identify COVID-19 misinformation. Kennedy defended himself against accusations of racism and anti-Semitism, highlighting his pro-Israel record and his opposition to the ‌Biden administration’s payout to Iran.

His appearance at the hearing reflects the ongoing debates surrounding free speech and censorship in the realm of social media and online information dissemination. Despite facing criticism and attempts to silence him, Kennedy’s‌ speech received‍ roaring applause in the House, resonating with many Americans who long for a return to civility and the upholding of the First Amendment.

In these trying times, Kennedy’s speech serves ⁢as a call ⁤to stop the madness and find common ⁣ground. It is no wonder that Democrats were so determined to silence him. Regardless of political affiliation, his impassioned plea for unity and the preservation of the Constitution resonates with many Americans.
