Jim Caviezel hails Trump as ‘New Moses’ during film promotion.
Jim Caviezel Praises Donald Trump and Promotes New Film
Actor Jim Caviezel appeared on Fox and Friends to discuss his new film, “Sound of Freedom,” and took the opportunity to commend former President Donald Trump. When discussing the issue of child trafficking, Caviezel emphasized the need for more action and stated that it should start with Trump. He described Trump as the “new Moses” who would go after the traffickers and free the children.
Caviezel and producer Eduardo Verástegui had the opportunity to screen the film for Trump at his private golf resort in New Jersey. Trump praised the movie, calling it an “incredible inspiration” and expressing his admiration for the acting and the important message it conveys.
“Sound of Freedom” has been a breakout hit this summer, crossing the $100 million mark domestically within two weeks of its release. The film premiered on July 4 and surpassed the latest “Indiana Jones” film in box office earnings. Caviezel attributed its success to the significance of releasing it on Independence Day and the powerful message of restoring freedom to exploited children.
Rescuing Children from Exploitation
The film is based on real events and follows the story of Tim Ballard, a Homeland Security agent who risks everything to rescue a young boy from traffickers and save his captive sister. In real life, Ballard founded Operation Underground Railroad (OUR), a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing children from exploitation and aiding their recovery.
Ballard highlighted the alarming statistics of human trafficking, with an estimated $150 billion being made annually from the enslavement of men, women, and children. He emphasized the role of the United States as a destination country for trafficking and the urgent need to combat this issue.
Jim Caviezel and the team behind “Sound of Freedom” have not only created a powerful film but also sparked a grassroots movement. Influential supporters have rallied behind the movie, encouraging others to watch it and even purchasing tickets in bulk for future viewers.
