Report: Hunter Biden frequently called his father during foreign business meetings, associate to testify.
Explosive Testimony: Hunter Biden’s Best Friend to Reveal Phone Calls with Joe Biden
President Joe Biden has repeatedly denied discussing business with his son, Hunter. But the embattled first son’s best friend may blow up those denials in a congressional deposition scheduled this week, the New York Post reported.
Explosive Revelations
- Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s close friend and business partner, is reportedly planning to testify before the House Oversight Committee.
- Archer will reveal that Hunter Biden phoned his father, Joe Biden, during numerous meetings with foreign business partners while Joe Biden was vice president.
- One particular incident in Dubai in December 2015 stands out, where Hunter Biden introduced his father to Burisma executives at the request of the company’s owner.
This testimony adds to mounting evidence that Joe Biden discussed business with his son, despite his repeated denials.
Joe Biden has previously claimed that he never spoke to his son about his overseas business dealings. However, recent developments contradict this statement.
Republicans have also released an FBI memo that alleges Joe Biden and Hunter Biden received $10 million in bribes from Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, to influence a bribery investigation. The memo includes claims from a confidential source who says Zlochevsky has 17 recordings of phone calls with the Bidens.
Furthermore, two other former associates of Hunter Biden, Rob Walker and Tony Bobulinski, have confirmed Joe Biden’s involvement in business meetings related to his son’s ventures.
Upcoming Testimony
The House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed Devon Archer to appear for a closed-door deposition regarding his work with the Bidens. Archer has previously canceled the deposition three times.
Rep. James Comer (R., Ky.) expressed anticipation for Archer’s testimony, hoping to hear about the instances where Joe Biden met with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners while serving as vice president.
Archer’s attorney did not respond to a request for comment.
