UFO oversight hearing to unleash a torrent.
The House Oversight Committee’s Hearing with Department of Defense Whistleblower David Grusch
The House Oversight Committee’s highly anticipated hearing on Wednesday with Department of Defense whistleblower David Grusch is set to “open the floodgates” on the issue of unidentified anomalous phenomena, more commonly known as unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
According to Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), who led the committee’s investigation into Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) alongside Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), this hearing will be a game-changer. Burchett, who has long been vocal about UAPs and the Pentagon’s secrecy surrounding the matter, believes that the hearing will finally compel more representatives to take the issue seriously.
“For the longest time, the Pentagon has said they don’t exist,” Burchett stated. However, he revealed that fellow members of Congress are now approaching him because their constituents, including prominent figures, are expressing concerns about UAPs.
The revelations from this hearing are expected to dominate news coverage on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Burchett shared, “Every major news outlet in the world has contacted me” about the hearing, highlighting its significance.
Former UFO investigator for the British Ministry of Defense, Nick Pope, emphasized the importance of David Grusch’s testimony. “It’s one thing to tell a story exclusively to a particular news media outlet, but it’s quite another to testify under oath to Congress,” Pope explained. He believes that Grusch’s testimony will elevate the issue and give it an official seal of approval.
Pope also predicted that this hearing is just the beginning of Congress’s quest for more information on UAPs. “Can he give Congress anything that would help them validate those claims?” Pope questioned, emphasizing the key question for tomorrow’s hearing.
David Grusch’s Explosive Allegations
David Grusch, a decorated former combat officer in Afghanistan, recently came forward with explosive information about UAPs that he claims has been illegally withheld from Congress. Grusch, who previously worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office, alleges that he faced retaliation for disclosing information about covert operations related to UAPs.
According to Grusch, secretive programs have been retrieving crafts of nonhuman origin, both intact and partially intact, for decades. He also asserts that the Department of Defense still possesses these crafts. Grusch further claims that the United States, as well as allied governments and defense contractors, have made similar discoveries.
To conduct a substantive investigation into the Pentagon’s UAP programs, Congress needs to use this hearing to uncover crucial details such as the ”Project Name, Director name, and lead agency” responsible for the retrieval of these crafts and fragments, as suggested by Pope.
It’s important to note that Grusch will not be the only witness during the 10 a.m. Oversight hearing. Retired Cmdr. David Fravor and former Navy pilot Ryan Graves, who have also encountered UAPs during their tenures, will provide their testimonies as well.
The focus of the hearing will be on the implications of UAPs to national security, public safety, and the government.
