Disturbing Police ‌Bodycam Footage Reveals Horrific Abuse of⁢ Children

Prepare‌ yourself⁤ for ⁤shocking and heartbreaking footage that recently came to⁢ light, showing the heroic rescue of six ⁣abused children by Las Vegas police officers. The video, obtained by 8NewsNow, captures the harrowing ⁣scene inside an ⁢extended-stay apartment on June 11.

As the footage unfolds, we witness the ⁤unimaginable. Multiple children are found in the apartment, with two of them locked inside a small dog cage. One of these innocent souls had suffered severe ⁤beatings. The police, armed with bolt cutters, swiftly come to‍ the rescue,⁣ opening the padlock that had imprisoned the children. They speak to the ‌child ⁢who bore the brunt‍ of the abuse, only to discover that he had gone days without food.

This shocking discovery was made after ⁢the police responded⁣ to a call at a convenience store across the ⁤street earlier that ⁢day. There, they encountered a woman named Amanda Stamper, 33, who revealed that she‌ was hiding from her husband, fearing for her life. Court transcripts obtained by the TV station reveal that Stamper disclosed the existence of ⁣the abused children⁣ in the apartment.⁤ She described how her ⁣husband, Travis Doss, 31, subjected the children to relentless beatings using various objects, leaving ⁣them covered in marks and bruises.

The bodycam footage captures the police’s attempts to persuade a young child inside the apartment to open the door for a wellness check. Reluctant to do so, the child only relents when a maintenance worker intervenes. With the door finally open, the officers enter the home and find six children, two of whom were confined in the dog cage. The ⁢child in the cage had suffered⁤ unimaginable injuries, including swollen‍ black eyes, numerous marks and bruises, and severe malnourishment.

It is revealed that‍ Stamper worked as a prostitute under Doss, who claims to be a⁤ rapper, according to the New York Post report. Doss is the father of all six children and has another child with Stamper, who ⁢is currently pregnant.

Chillingly, Doss allegedly told the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police that he believed the 11-year-old child locked in the cage was already dead. Just a day⁤ before the children‌ were rescued, Doss reportedly ⁤confessed to Stamper that he thought he had fatally injured the child by kicking ‍him in the head. Stamper⁢ herself admitted to⁣ the police that she believed the child ⁤had appeared lifeless ‌for the past five days.

Thankfully, the child is alive‌ and receiving medical care at a secure location.

In⁣ the bodycam footage, the child bravely recounts the abuse, stating, “My father hit my face in the cage because I was squished up trying to get out ‌of the cage. I didn’t do anything, and I was freaking out.”

A detective who testified before a grand ⁤jury revealed that the severely beaten child had not eaten for days. The child expressed his constant hunger and justified his ⁣stealing by explaining that he would have to share one large fry⁢ from McDonald’s with‍ his‌ six siblings, emphasizing that he was never adequately fed.

When asked how long the child had been locked in‌ the cage, the detective responded, “all ‍day every day.”

Both Doss and Stamper were arrested for child abuse. Stamper’s public defender argued that she had no choice but‌ to comply ⁢with Doss’s abuse, as she would have faced severe repercussions otherwise. Even Doss himself claimed that he never witnessed Stamper ⁣harming the ‍children. However, Stamper, who was aware of the ⁤abuse, is currently being held without bail due to a probation violation. Doss’s bail was set at $500,000 after being ⁤indicted by a grand‌ jury.

Both Stamper and Doss have pleaded not guilty.
