New billionaire owner demolishing Rush Limbaugh’s $155M oceanfront estate.

Rush Limbaugh’s Former Home Being Demolished by New Billionaire Owner

The former home⁢ of conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh is⁤ being demolished, making way for a new chapter in Palm Beach, Florida.

In March, cosmetics billionaire William P. Lauder bought the 2.6-acre‌ estate from Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, ‌the radio host’s widow, for a record-breaking 5 million.

Now, a⁢ demolition crew has been hard at‍ work tearing the ‌home to pieces, according ⁣to USA Today.

It seems Lauder had plans of his own for⁣ the property, as he intends‍ to build his own custom home on this prime piece of land.

Conservative radio and television personality Mark ⁢Levin expressed his sadness on Twitter, saying, “I spent some time at Rush’s home.⁢ Sorry⁢ to see it ‌demolished. I suppose it was a ⁣matter of when not if.”

Levin’s followers also ⁤shared their thoughts on⁣ the demolition, with one user lamenting the loss of character⁣ in the area due to the‌ replacement of beautiful‌ homes ‌with‌ modern buildings.

However, despite the demolition, Rush Limbaugh’s words ⁢and legacy continue to⁣ resonate with his supporters.

This isn’t the first‌ time Lauder has demolished an ⁣expensive home in ⁢Palm Beach. In 2022, he razed ⁤a ⁢$110 million mansion located nearby, combining it with an empty lot he owned. The‍ resulting property was ‍sold for a staggering $200 million, becoming the most‍ expensive vacant property ever listed for sale in Palm Beach.

As the demolition continues, a new chapter begins for this‍ iconic piece of real estate in Palm Beach.
