Hunter confesses in court to profiting greatly from China, while Joe maintains it never occurred.
Hunter Biden Admits in Court That He Made Big Bucks From China – Joe Has Claimed It Never Happened
In a surprising turn of events, Hunter Biden confessed in court on Wednesday to receiving over half a million dollars from a Chinese government-backed company. This revelation directly contradicts his father, President Joe Biden’s repeated claims that neither he nor his family has ever profited from China.
Hunter appeared before federal court Judge Maryellen Noreika, where he pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay federal income taxes, as reported by Fox News.
A potential plea deal, which would have allowed Hunter to avoid jail time for the misdemeanors and a separate felony gun charge, fell apart when Noreika refused to sign off on it.
During the three-hour court appearance, Hunter faced questions about his foreign business dealings in Ukraine and China. When asked about specific payments, he confirmed receiving $664,000 from the CEFC Energy company.
CEFC was China’s largest private energy company until its bankruptcy in 2020, according to the New York Post.
“I started a company [in 2017] called Hudson West, your Honor, and my partner was associated with a Chinese energy company called CEFC,” Hunter stated, according to court transcripts obtained by Fox.
Judge Noreika then asked, “Who was your partner?” to which Hunter replied, “I don’t know how to spell his name, Yi Jianming is the chairman of that company.”
Did Joe Biden Knowingly Lie About His Family’s Financial Ties to China?
The Post obtained a June 2017 email from Hunter Biden to “Chairman Ye,” in which he offered him “best wishes from the entire Biden family as well as my partners.”
Yi was taken into custody by Chinese authorities in 2018 and hasn’t been seen since, according to the Post.

Judge Noreika continued her line of questioning about the payments, asking Hunter, “Is that one of the companies we’ve already talked about?” referring to the $664,000 from a Chinese infrastructure investment company. Hunter replied, “I believe so, yes, Your Honor. I believe CEFC.”
This admission by Hunter Biden directly contradicts statements made by his father, Joe Biden. The President has repeatedly claimed that neither he nor his son profited from China.
In August 2019, Joe Biden stated, “I have never discussed, with my son or my brother or with anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses. Period.” He added during a debate with Donald Trump in October 2020, “My son has not made money in terms of this thing about – what are you talking about — China.”

Joe Biden even pointed at Trump during a debate, saying, “The only guy who made money from China is this guy. He’s the only one. Nobody else has made money from China.”
It is clear that Hunter Biden’s admission in court raises serious questions about the truthfulness of Joe Biden’s statements regarding his family’s financial ties to China.
