Transgender Canadian criticizes doctors for refusing euthanasia due to unbearable pain from vaginal surgery.
An Indigenous Man in Canada Speaks Out Against Healthcare System’s Denial of Euthanasia Request
An indigenous man in Canada who identifies as a woman has recently criticized Canada’s healthcare system for refusing his euthanasia request, despite the excruciating pain he experiences after undergoing surgery to construct a vagina in 2019.
In a heartfelt letter addressed to the Canadian government, Lois Cardinal, a self-described “sterilized First Nations Post Op Transsexual,” passionately pleads for a reconsideration of the government’s stance on “gender-affirming care.”
Cardinal’s letter also highlights the importance of protecting children from irreversible and harmful gender medical procedures, urging the government to allow them to enjoy their lives before subjecting them to such interventions.

Cardinal has bravely shared his medical records on Twitter to shed light on the radical gender ideology that he believes is causing his ongoing suffering.
“I’m constantly in discomfort and pain,” Cardinal revealed in an interview with the U.K.’s Daily Mail.
The 35-year-old man submitted a “Medical Assistance in Dying” (MAID) file, detailing the pain and anxiety he currently experiences due to the surgically added ”neo-vagina.”
Despite his plea, Canada’s healthcare system ultimately denied Cardinal’s request, stating that it does not meet the current “criteria.” However, they did mention that it could be reassessed in the future if there is a change in his clinical status.

Cardinal expressed his frustration with doctors who seem more concerned about his pronouns than his well-being.
“I’m not getting any better, and I’m not receiving proper medical care, or any medical care at all,” Cardinal lamented. “The system is so captured by gender ideologies that they care more about my pronouns.”
I requested my MAiD file.

Cardinal emphasized the psychological burden he carries and expressed his desire to discontinue living if he cannot access proper medical care to alleviate the pain caused by the surgically built vagina.
In 2009, Cardinal underwent a irreversible medical procedure known as “vaginoplasty,” which involves the creation of a surgically built vagina using genital tissue from a male. Unfortunately, he has since developed health complications and deeply regrets undergoing the procedure.
According to Boston Children’s Hospital, a “vaginoplasty” is a complex surgical procedure that constructs a vagina using existing genital tissue.
Cardinal continues to endure constant pressure, pain, and discomfort years after the initial surgery. He warns that children and vulnerable individuals in Canada are falling victim to a medicalized trend.
