Ben Shapiro surprisingly supports Cardi B after fan throws drink at her.
Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro Agrees with Cardi B on Stage Incident
In a surprising turn of events, Ben Shapiro, the former editor of Daily Wire, found common ground with rapper Cardi B after a drink was thrown at her during a performance in Las Vegas over the weekend.
Despite their frequent disagreements, Shapiro acknowledged that Cardi B’s response of throwing her microphone back was justified.
“Typically when you go to somebody’s show, you don’t throw drinks at them. Apparently, she was in the middle of her most popular song and she asked someone to wet her p-word. So that’s a thing that she did because she is all class all the time,” Shapiro said on the Monday episode of his podcast.
According to Shapiro, someone threw a drink at Cardi B after she made the request, prompting her to retaliate by throwing her microphone back.
“Also, do I blame Cardi B for chucking her microphone at the guy? No. It’s very rare when Cardi B and I end up on the same side of a debate, but general rule: if you chuck somebody at something on stage and that person chucks something back at you, that’s your fault. So Cardi B has, I think, a right to to throw her microphone at somebody who throws a beverage at her,” he said.
Cardi B is just the latest in a long line of performers who have been targeted with objects while performing on stage.
Country star Morgan Wallen also experienced a similar incident during his One Night at a Time World Tour in St. Louis. While autographing a hat from an audience member, Wallen was hit in the chest by a sparkly boot, as captured in a viral video.
Adele and Bebe Rexha Also Victims of On-Stage Attacks
Adele recently addressed this concerning trend, expressing her frustration with people forgetting show etiquette and throwing objects on stage. She dared anyone to try it with her, emphasizing the loss of respect in such actions.
Similarly, singer Bebe Rexha was rushed off stage after being hit in the head by a cell phone thrown by an audience member. The incident was captured in a viral video, showing Rexha falling to her knees as crew members rushed to her aid.
