US Volleyball Team Dominated by Southern California Players
Nine Southern California Athletes Represent USA in Boys Under-19 World Championship
Nine talented athletes from Southern California, including five from Orange County, have been chosen to represent the United States in the highly anticipated International Volleyball Federation Boys Under-19 World Championship tournament. This thrilling competition will take place in San Juan, Argentina and will run until August 11.
The selection process was rigorous, with a pool of 20 candidates gathering at the prestigious U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs from July 23 to 29. From this talented group, the final 12 players were carefully chosen to proudly wear the USA Volleyball jersey.
