Streets near courthouse closed amid rising rumors of new Trump indictment.

Streets Around Courthouse Being Shut Down as Rumors of Another ⁢Trump Indictment Grow

Get ready for some ‍major developments in Atlanta as the Fulton County Courthouse prepares for what could be another indictment of former President Donald Trump. The anticipation ⁣is building, and it’s causing quite a stir.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been tight-lipped about her plans, but speculation is running‍ rampant that Trump may face‍ charges of election interference for challenging the state’s 2020 presidential results.

Months ago,⁤ Willis made‍ it clear that trials and in-person‍ meetings would be put on hold in⁤ August while a grand jury investigated the matter. Now, it seems like⁤ the pieces are⁣ falling into place.

Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat has been making moves as well. He recently announced that his department is ready to fingerprint and photograph Trump⁤ if an indictment is handed down.‌ And⁤ now, the closure of ⁢several streets around ⁤the courthouse is ‌adding fuel to the fire.

“Sheriff Labat’s top priority is to make sure that everyone that still comes to conduct‌ business at the courthouse⁤ and the government center or anywhere⁤ near ⁣this footprint stays safe,” said Natalie ⁤Ammons, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office.

Labat’s⁤ office has ⁢not provided ‍specific details about the security concerns that prompted the street closures, but it’s clear that ⁣they are taking this‍ situation seriously.

Labat has made it clear ‍that if Trump is charged, he will be treated ⁢like any⁢ other alleged criminal. No special‌ treatment here. The sheriff’s office is ⁣prepared to have a ⁣mugshot ready for him.

Labat has even sent deputies to Miami and⁣ New York City to observe how authorities handle security for Trump’s arraignments in those areas. They are leaving no stone unturned.

This wouldn’t⁢ be‍ the first time Trump faces legal trouble. He has already been indicted three times. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin ⁣Bragg charged him with falsifying business records in 2016, and Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith has ⁢indicted him twice.

Now,⁣ all eyes are‌ on Fulton County as the‍ possibility⁣ of another indictment looms. Sheriff Labat and his team are closely monitoring the situation, ready to⁢ respond accordingly.

Stay tuned for more updates on this‌ developing story.
