Elon Musk Declares War on New York Times, Accusing Them of Supporting Genocide
Elon Musk, the renowned entrepreneur, has launched a scathing attack on the New York Times, accusing the newspaper of endorsing calls for genocide against white South Africans. In a tweet, Musk referred to the Times as “contemptible hypocrites” for their coverage of recent threats against whites in South Africa by supporters of the Economic Freedom Fighters party.
The New York Times actually has the nerve to support calls for genocide! If ever there was a time to cancel that publication, it is now.

Musk’s comments were in response to an article published by the Times this week, in which they argued that the singing of “Kill the Boers” by the EFF party was not a genuine threat of violence. Musk, who grew up in South Africa, urged people to bypass the Times’ paywall and read their articles for free.

The New York Times heavily relies on reader subscriptions to access their articles. However, with the decline in traditional newspaper sales, Musk’s call to bypass the paywall could impact the Times’ revenue.
The controversy surrounding the “Kill the Boers” chant erupted after the leader of the EFF party, Julius Malema, led a crowd in chanting the phrase, which is seen as a call for violence against white South Africans. Despite the end of apartheid, white South Africans still face discrimination, particularly through the illegal seizure of privately owned land.

Earlier this week, Musk publicly called out the “white genocide” in South Africa and questioned President Cyril Ramaphosa’s silence on the matter.
