Elon Musk’s Cage Match Against Mark Zuckerberg Might Be Delayed Due to Surgery

Elon Musk recently revealed that he may have to undergo surgery before he can step into the ring for a highly anticipated cage match against Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Since June, the tech titans have been teasing a fight, with both publicly and privately agreeing to face off in a‌ physical showdown.

Although no date has been set for the fight, Musk stated on his ‍X social media platform (formerly Twitter)⁤ that it might take some time before he is physically ready to take on Zuckerberg.

In response to Musk’s ‌comments, Zuckerberg hinted that his⁢ opponent was stalling, mentioning that ⁢he had been bringing weights into the office despite his⁣ busy schedule.

One Twitter user took a jab ‍at⁤ Zuckerberg and his declining social media platform, Threads, suggesting that maybe‍ he had suggested the fight on Threads but no one noticed. Musk responded with a laughing emoji.

Musk also provided an update on his health and the ‍potential date for the fight. He mentioned that he would be getting an MRI of his neck and upper ‌back, which might require surgery before the fight can happen. He expects to have more information about his condition later ⁤this week.

Musk’s comments about the potential need for surgery came after he announced that the fight‍ would be live-streamed on X, with all proceeds going to charity for veterans.

The agreement for the match between the two billionaires was made in late June after Musk criticized ⁤Threads and‍ jokingly suggested that Zuckerberg, known ⁣for heavy censorship on his platforms, wants to rule the world.

Musk later tweeted, “I’m up for a cage match if he is,” prompting UFC president Dana White to work ⁣towards making the bout a reality.
