Bernie Kerik, a Trump ally, meets investigators after indictment: Report.

Trump Ally Bernie Kerik⁤ Meets with Special Counsel Investigators

According to a report, Bernie⁣ Kerik, a close ally of former President ⁣Donald Trump⁤ and ⁤former New York City Police Commissioner, recently met with ⁢investigators from special counsel Jack Smith. The meeting lasted approximately five hours on Monday.

Kerik’s attorney, Timothy Parlatore, revealed‍ that the focus of the questioning revolved around the actions of Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s attorney, ⁤in attempting to prove that Trump had won⁤ the ‌2020 presidential election.

Kerik has a longstanding relationship with Giuliani, dating back‍ to Giuliani’s time as mayor of New‌ York City. While Giuliani has been mentioned as⁤ a co-conspirator in Trump’s recent indictment, he has not faced any charges and ‌vehemently denies any wrongdoing.

Parlatore expressed confidence that Giuliani will not be charged by the⁢ special counsel, stating, “The idea that ⁢Rudy Giuliani was intentionally pushing claims he knew were false is not something supported by the evidence.”

Kerik was part of Giuliani’s team that investigated alleged voter fraud surrounding the 2020 ⁤election. Last month, he provided a substantial ‍amount of documents related to the ⁤investigation,‍ after receiving permission from Trump’s legal team.

“I have shared all of these documents, approximately 600 megabytes, mostly PDFs, with the special counsel and ⁢look forward to sitting ‍down with them in about two weeks to discuss,” Kerik stated.

Previously, Kerik faced false accusations regarding a meeting prior to January 6th by the Jan. 6 committee.

In ⁢2010, Kerik was⁣ sentenced to four ‌years in prison for felony fraud charges and making⁤ false statements to government officials. However, he was pardoned by then-President ⁣Trump in 2020.
