Tyson Foods closes four chicken plants to cut costs due to revenue losses.

Tyson Foods⁤ Inc. to⁤ Close Four Chicken-Processing Plants ‍by 2024

Tyson Foods Inc. ‍has recently‌ announced its decision to close‍ four ⁣of its ⁤plants-in-cost-lowering-efforts-amid-revenue-losses/” title=”Tyson Foods closes four chicken plants to cut costs due to revenue losses.”>chicken-processing plants ⁢across the United States by 2024. This announcement was made during⁤ the ⁢company’s third quarter of 2023 on Aug. 7.

The plants that will be closed are located in North Little Rock, Arkansas; Corydon, Indiana; and the Missouri towns of Dexter and Noel. Tyson Foods Inc. stated that the reason behind this decision is⁤ to lower costs.

As⁢ part of their plan, Tyson Foods Inc. intends to ⁣relocate production⁣ from these facilities to other newer facilities that are closer to its customers.
