Experts are clueless.

Don’t believe what you ⁤read, especially if it involves ‘science’

What happened: The New York Times wrote‍ about a new scientific study on plastic pollution in the ocean ‌and compared its‍ findings with those⁢ of ‌a ⁤previous⁤ study. There was a slight discrepancy:

Why it matters: That first study was widely⁤ reported by‌ the sorts of media outlets that⁤ want ‍people to panic about climate change. (Practically all ‌of them.) “Humans are putting 8 million metric tons of plastic‍ in the oceans — annually,” the Washington Post warned.

  • Both ⁢studies are probably wrong. ⁢The so-called experts have ⁢no idea what⁤ they’re talking about, especially when it comes to “science.” The Earth is massive; its climate is complex.
  • Do‌ we really think the ‌people who said‍ it was safe to march for⁤ liberal causes but ‍not conservative ones are smart ⁢enough to figure it out and‍ honest enough to tell the truth?
  • More importantly: Who⁢ cares? Everything going to be ⁢just fine, probably.

Bottom line: Nobody knows anything. ‍Everybody knows nothing.
