Plant-based meat company Beyond Meat sees revenues decline
Plant-based meat company Beyond Meat has experienced a significant decline in revenues during the second quarter of 2023. The company attributes this decline to weak demand, particularly from the United States.
According to a press release on August 7th, net revenues for Q2 amounted to $102.1 million, reflecting a 30.5 percent drop compared to the previous year.
Blaming weak demand for the decline
“The decrease in net revenues can be attributed to the weak demand we have been experiencing, especially in the United States,” stated the company in their press release.
