Defending their Freeway League softball championship, Sunny Hills High School in Southern California is ready to kick off the new season with a fresh perspective. The school recently announced that Dale Lopes, a seasoned softball player and coach, will be taking the reins as the new head coach.
Previously serving as an assistant on Elise Laws’ coaching staff, Mr. Lopes is no stranger to the team’s dynamics and goals. With his wealth of experience and passion for the sport, he is well-equipped to lead the team to even greater success.
Elise Laws, the former head coach, has decided to step down from her position to pursue an exciting opportunity as an assistant coach at Orange Coast College. While her departure is bittersweet, the team is grateful for her contributions and wishes her the best in her new role.
