VIDEO: Biden angrily responds to reporter’s inquiry on Hunter’s business
President Joe Biden Fires Back at Reporter Over Son’s Foreign Business Dealings
In a heated exchange with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, President Joe Biden vehemently denied any involvement in his son’s foreign business dealings. When asked about the growing evidence linking him to these activities, Biden responded, “I never talked business with anybody, I knew you’d have a lousy question.”
“It’s not true,” Biden firmly stated, dismissing the claims made by Hunter Biden’s former business associate, Devon Archer. Archer testified before the House Oversight Committee, revealing that Hunter Biden frequently called his father during business meetings to promote the Biden “brand.”
This is not the first time Biden has clashed with Doocy regarding his role in his family’s foreign business. In 2019, Biden told Doocy, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas dealings,” before admonishing him to “ask the right questions.”
Archer’s testimony also shed light on a dinner attended by Biden as vice president, where he was accompanied by several business associates of his son, including Vadym Pozharskyi from Burisma. Pozharskyi expressed gratitude to Hunter Biden for arranging the meeting, which took place at Café Milano in Washington, D.C.
In an email uncovered by the New York Post, Pozharskyi wrote, “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spend some time together.” This contradicts Biden’s previous claims of never discussing his son’s business dealings.
Furthermore, Archer revealed that Biden sent him a letter in 2011, apologizing for not getting a chance to talk at a luncheon and expressing his desire to see him again with Hunter. The letter concludes with a handwritten note from Biden, saying, “P.S. Happy you guys are together.”
New Evidence Revealed by House Oversight Committee
The House Oversight Committee recently released new evidence, showcasing how the Biden family received over $20 million from foreign sources. It is worth noting that some of these individuals were among those whom then-vice president Joe Biden dined with following the payments.
