House Oversight Committee reports foreign payments to Biden family exceed $20M.
House Republicans Reveal Shocking Evidence of Biden Family’s Foreign Payments
House Republicans have recently released compelling evidence that sheds light on how the Biden family received a staggering $20 million from foreign sources. What’s even more concerning is that some of these sources were individuals whom then-Vice President Joe Biden had dined with after receiving these payments.
“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ’the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine,” stated House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R., Ky.). “It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself.”
The Oversight Committee has uncovered evidence indicating that payments from these countries, as well as Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, to the Biden family amount to over $20 million.
In one instance, a Russian oligarch made a payment of $3.5 million in February 2014 to a shell company associated with Hunter Biden and his former business partner Devon Archer. Just two months later, an oligarch in Kazakhstan wired $142,300 to a bank account linked to the pair, which interestingly enough, was the exact cost of a sports car Biden purchased the very next day.
Furthermore, House Republicans have provided additional evidence that Joe Biden himself dined with his son’s customers. According to the report, after Hunter received millions from the oligarchs, “Vice President Biden had dinner with them in the spring of 2014 and 2015 in Washington, D.C.”
It is worth noting that Joe Biden has consistently distanced himself from his son’s lucrative foreign business dealings. In August 2019, the president stated, ”I have never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period.”
However, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, who also served on the board of Burisma with him, recently testified to the Oversight Committee that Hunter had called his father more than 20 times during business meetings to sell the Biden “brand.”
In a revealing 2011 email to Archer, Hunter Biden even bragged about how a Chinese businessman loved his ”last name.” He wrote, “Your question—’why does Super Chair love me so much?’ is easily answered. It has nothing to do with me and everything to do with my last name.” This email, discovered on his abandoned laptop and reported by the New York Post, refers to businessman Che Feng, who assisted Biden in partnering with a Chinese firm.
