Recalls and Health Concerns

Food recalls due to health concerns ⁣have been making headlines recently. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in collaboration with the FDA, have been urging⁣ people to check their freezers for frozen strawberries purchased‌ in⁣ the ⁢past few months.

Between November 24, 2022, and April ‍12, there were nine reported cases of hepatitis A⁣ linked⁤ to ‌these strawberries. To ‍investigate further, the CDC interviewed the affected individuals, asking about⁢ their⁣ food consumption in the two to ⁣seven weeks leading up to their illness. Interestingly, all nine individuals reported consuming frozen organic strawberries.

At Nestle, we believe in transparency and‍ keeping you informed⁢ about food safety. Your well-being is our‍ utmost priority.
