Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) has criticized the Democrat-passed $1.9 coronavirus relief bill as a liberal wish list. He made those comments during an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday with left-wing anchor Chuck Todd.
During the discussion, Todd claimed the massive package, which recently passed through the House and Senate, contained provisions many Republican voters agreed with. However, Barrasso pointed out that while that may be true, there are too many measures GOP voters are vehemently against.
When people find out what is in the Democrats’ $1.9 trillion #COVID bill, they are going to lose enthusiasm for it. This bill wasn’t about #coronavirus & was filled with pork. Every Republican & even some Democrats voted against this bill. pic.twitter.com/o0oshpepRm

The coronavirus relief bill passed through both the House and Senate with no Republican lawmakers voting in favor of it.
