This announcement follows Trump’s previous actions to protect his image and prevent unauthorized fundraising. In March, he sent a warning letter to the National Republican Campaign Committee of the House and ten conservative consulting firms, explicitly instructing them not to use his likeness in any fundraising messages. Similar cease-and-desist letters were also sent to the NRCC, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and the Republican National Committee.
