The school board faced backlash from parents after screenshots of the teacher’s social media account were shared by the popular social media account Libs of TikTok. The posts allegedly featured imagery that criticized the police and discussed the teacher’s disorder, which was said to contribute to violent behavior.
As a result of the controversy, the art class taught by the educator was canceled on the first day of school. The district stated that it was conducting an investigation into the situation prior to the termination.

According to Libs of TikTok, the teacher’s social media accounts have since been scrubbed. The screenshots shared by the account revealed that the teacher claimed to have bipolar 1 disorder with mania and psychosis, which allegedly contributed to violent and hurtful behavior.
Parental Concerns and School Board Response
Parents expressed their concerns about the teacher’s posts, with one parent stating, “I’ve seen some anti-religious, child sacrifice, there was Satan worship.” Another parent emphasized that they did not want their children exposed to such content at a young age.
The Homer Community Consolidated 33C School Board did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
