Two Trump kin to join initial GOP debate despite 45’s absence.

The ⁤Trump Family Makes Their Presence Known at GOP Debate

While ⁢former President Donald Trump ‌won’t be attending Wednesday’s Republican presidential debate, his family ‌will still have a strong presence.

According to the Daily Caller, Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle will be⁣ attending the event on behalf of‍ the 45th president.

The pair expressed their confidence that Republican voters will⁣ reject any ‍alternatives to President⁣ Trump.

“We’re excited to‌ see all‌ of our friends ‍in‍ Milwaukee⁢ on Wednesday in support of President Trump,” Trump ⁣Jr. and Guilfoyle told the outlet. ⁤”We’re confident that in 2024, GOP voters will reject ⁢the RINO establishment and re-nominate President Trump in a landslide.”

Donald Trump announced his decision not to participate in the debate or any others in the primary through a post on Truth Social.

He cited his overwhelming lead in primary polling as the reason for his absence.

During the Milwaukee event, Trump Jr. ⁤and ⁣Guilfoyle will represent the frontrunner in various ‍media appearances, as reported by the Caller.

However, it remains uncertain‍ how many candidates will meet the‌ GOP’s debate criteria‍ and⁣ be allowed ⁣on stage.

One candidate who ⁤was once close to Trump suggested that the former president might not necessarily skip the debate, despite his ‌announcement.

Former Vice President Mike Pence,⁤ drawing from his own experiences working with Trump, stated, “You know, I served alongside the president for a long time, and ‌one thing I realized about him is it’s not over till it’s over,” on ABC’s “This Week.”

Trump spokesman Jason Miller also left room for the possibility of the front-runner changing his mind.

“He said he’s not doing‍ the debates, and so until he says something differently, I would assume ⁤he’s not going to be ⁣participating,” Miller said.

Other candidates expected to appear at the debate include Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ⁢ and Vivek Ramaswamy.

While Trump won’t ‌be physically present, he is scheduled ‌to participate in an online interview with conservative ⁢media personality Tucker Carlson during the debate.

According to NBC News, Trump ‌has already recorded the program.

Although the former president won’t be there, the Trump ‍family’s presence ensures that their⁤ influence will still be felt at⁣ the first‌ GOP debate.
