RNC reveals 8 GOP 2024 contenders who qualify for Republican debate.

The Stage is Set: Meet the Republican 2024 Presidential Candidates

The ‌Republican National Committee has just announced ⁣the lineup for Wednesday’s highly anticipated debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This first GOP⁤ primary ⁣debate is ⁤a crucial opportunity for the conservative hopefuls to‍ make their mark⁢ and gain momentum in the race for the 2024 presidential nomination.

While former President Donald Trump has chosen not to participate, this presents a chance for the other candidates to close the gap and make a strong impression.

The Candidates

  • Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND)
  • Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie
  • Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL)
  • Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley
  • Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson
  • Former Vice President Mike Pence
  • Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy
  • Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC)

These eight candidates have met the rigorous criteria ⁢set by⁢ the RNC, including polling thresholds⁤ and donor requirements.‍ They are ready to showcase their conservative vision and demonstrate their ability to defeat Joe Biden in the upcoming election.

“The RNC is thrilled to present our diverse field of candidates ⁣and their conservative vision to defeat Joe Biden on the debate stage Wednesday ⁤night,” said⁢ RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. “We extend our gratitude to the RNC’s debate committee Chairman Dave Bossie, Co-Chair Anne Hathaway, and our debate partners Fox News, Young America’s Foundation, and Rumble for their invaluable contributions in launching⁣ this primary process.”

Notably absent from‌ the list are Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and conservative ⁢talk radio host Larry⁣ Elder, who had previously announced their qualification for the debate. Their exclusion raises⁣ questions⁣ about their eligibility.

With Trump’s absence, the ⁣dynamics of the ⁤debate have shifted.⁣ Candidates like Christie and DeSantis, who may have targeted the former president, will now have to adapt their strategies. This opens up opportunities for other candidates to shine.

The RNC‍ debate ‍will take place on August 23 at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. CDT. Tune in to Fox News, where esteemed anchors Bret Baier and Martha ‍MacCallum will serve as moderators.
