Rapper YG, known for ‘F*** Donald Trump,’ claims Black community embracing MAGA: ‘Biden failed us.’
A Rapper’s Surprising Change of Heart: From “F**k Donald Trump” to Supporting Him for 2024 Presidential Election
In a stunning turn of events, rapper YG, known for his controversial song “FDT” (“F**k Donald Trump”), has expressed his support for the former president. During an appearance on Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast, YG revealed that the black community is shifting its allegiance from President Joe Biden to the 45th president.
Von asked YG if more black people are now supporting Trump, to which the rapper responded, “To me it seems like more black guys will mess with Trump because he seems more connected to the culture a little bit.”
YG went on to explain that the black community’s perception of Trump changed when he signed the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) while in office. “When that PPP s**t came out…black people forgave him,” YG said. “Dat n**** Trump passing out money. We f**k with Trump. I’m like, ‘Dang, so y’all back with Trump, just like that huh?’ He was like, ‘Hell yeah! Dat n**** passing out money!'”
DEVELOPING: YG the Rapper that famously made the F*** Donald Trump’ song is now supporting Donald Trump for the 2024 Presidential election.

The rapper clarified that he was speaking on behalf of black men like himself, stating, “You feel me? Let them tell it, this is what they say. Biden ain’t did nothing for us.”
WARNING: The following video contains vulgar language that some viewers may find offensive.
This shift in YG’s opinion of Trump is significant, considering his 2016 release of “FDT,” a song filled with death threats and comparisons of Trump to Adolf Hitler. The song even prompted a Secret Service investigation, although no action was taken.
During his presidency, Trump gained support from several prominent black musicians, including Kanye West (now Ye), 50 Cent, and Lil’ Wayne. While a majority of black people supported Biden in the 2020 election, Trump saw an increase in support among that demographic compared to the previous election cycle.
It seems that YG’s change of heart reflects a larger trend within the black community, as more individuals reevaluate their stance on Trump and his impact on their lives.
