Planned Parenthood’s Horrors Expansion Plan Sees 50% Surge in Cross-Sex Hormones for Kids.
Planned Parenthood Expands Gender Transition Services, Raises Concerns
Planned Parenthood is making a significant move into the gender transition business, according to a recent report. The number of clinics providing cross-sex hormones has increased dramatically in recent years, with a 49 percent rise in “gender-affirming care” between 2021 and 2022 alone. This expansion has raised concerns among critics who argue that organizations like Planned Parenthood are targeting children and youth with their controversial services.
In a recent Op-Ed, Melanie Israel highlighted the alarming statistics surrounding Planned Parenthood’s involvement in gender transition. She cited a report indicating that almost 600 Planned Parenthood clinics in America now offer cross-sex hormones, a significant increase from just 32 clinics in 2016. Additionally, Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio reported a staggering 544 percent increase in “transgender services” visits.
The Columbia-Willamette Planned Parenthood affiliate near Portland, Oregon, saw a quadruple increase in gender-bending visits from 2021 to 2022, with a total of 3,063 visits. These numbers have sparked concern among experts who view them as dangerous signs of a growing trend.
Normalization of Immorality and Evils
Susan Ciancio, writing for LifeSite News, expressed her worries about the normalization of immorality and evils by organizations like Planned Parenthood. She argued that Planned Parenthood’s push for a hedonistic society, where individuals are encouraged to do what makes them feel good, includes promoting abortion, contraception, and sex-reassignment surgery from a very early age. Ciancio emphasized the importance of addressing these issues and protecting children from harmful influences.

According to a tweet from Gays Against Groomers, several countries, including Norway, Finland, Sweden, Holland, and the UK, have already banned gender transition surgeries and drugs for minors. This raises the question of when the United States will follow suit.
Concerns about the grooming of children were also raised by Ciancio, who pointed out that Planned Parenthood suggests talking to preschoolers about their gender identity. She argued that this early exposure to gender-related discussions is part of a larger grooming process that aims to shape children’s beliefs and behaviors.
Proposed Legislation to Prohibit Gender-Affirming Care for Kids
Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas has introduced a bill that would ban federal funding to children’s hospitals that perform gender transitions. Crenshaw believes that these treatments, which permanently alter a child’s physiology, should not be performed in institutions that prioritize the principle of “do no harm.” He argues that taxpayer-funded programs should not support harmful pseudoscience like “gender-affirming care.”

During a hearing by the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government, Raheem Williams, a policy analyst for the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, expressed opposition to medical experimentation on children. He highlighted the lack of consensus and substantial research gaps in youth gender medicine and called for restrictions on unregulated and unproven medical experiments on children.
Planned Parenthood is also seeking to have gender transitions classified as a protected service under privacy standards, preventing disclosure to law enforcement, according to a report from Bloomberg Law. This further fuels concerns about the organization’s influence and the potential risks associated with their practices.
As the debate surrounding gender-affirming care for kids continues, it remains to be seen how legislation and public opinion will shape the future of these controversial services.
