Pharmaceutical Executive Vivek Ramaswamy Slammed by Chris Christie at Republican Primary Debate
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie didn’t hold back in criticizing pharmaceutical executive Vivek Ramaswamy at the Republican Party’s first primary debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Christie accused Ramaswamy of borrowing lines directly from Barack Obama, sparking a heated exchange.
Christie took aim at Ramaswamy’s claim that he would dismantle the entire “federal administrative state” and bring about a “revolution,” dismissing it as the words of a political novice. The audience erupted in applause as Christie made his point.
Ramaswamy kicked off the debate with a humorous remark, asking, “Who the heck is this skinny guy with a funny last name, and what the heck is he doing in the middle of this debate stage?”
Responding to Ramaswamy’s comment, Christie quipped, “I’ve had enough already of a guy who sounds like ChatGPT. The last guy who stood on a stage and described himself as a skinny guy with a funny name was Barack Obama… I’m afraid we’re dealing with the same type of amateur.”
It’s worth noting that Obama famously described himself as “a skinny kid with a funny name” during his national debut in 2004.
