According to Trump, his number one priority would be the border. He emphasized that this priority extended beyond just the border itself, but also included the deportation of criminal illegal aliens who have entered the country since President Joe Biden’s inauguration.
“And taking hundreds of thousands of criminals that have been allowed into our country, and getting them out and bringing them back to their country. Guatemala,” Trump stated.
Trump highlighted the presence of criminals and undesirable individuals who take advantage of the United States’ porous border under Biden’s administration.
“And they’re coming in from mental institutions, and they’re coming in from prisons… Terrorists are pouring into our country. We have no idea,” he expressed.
Trump also mentioned his signature campaign proposal from his historic 2016 White House bid, which involved the construction of 500 miles of wall at the southern border during his presidency.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, illegal immigration has reached record-setting levels at the nation’s borders and ports of entry under Biden’s leadership.
“The first thing I would do is seal the border up good and tight,” Trump added.
