Brothers Arrested in​ Connection⁤ with Armed Robbery During Rap Video Shoot

LOS ANGELES—In a shocking turn of events, two brothers have been⁣ apprehended by police⁢ following an armed robbery at a Granada⁣ Hills residence where one of ‌the men ​was filming a rap video. The incident, which occurred on August 15, has left⁢ the community in disbelief.

Taurean Bartlett, also known as “Trench Baby,” and his brother Taurus, known as “Polo G,” were taken into custody on August‍ 23, according ⁤to‌ the Los Angeles Police ​Department. Taurean, 18, faces charges of robbery and is being held on $100,000 bail. Taurus, ⁣24, is facing charges of possession of a short-barreled rifle and is being held without bail, as reported by the police department and the ​Los Angeles ‌County Sheriff’s Department.

Details of the Robbery

According to authorities, the robbery took place around​ 5 p.m. on August 15 in the 18500 block of Clydesdale ‌Avenue ​in Granada Hills.

“Through the‌ investigation, ​it was revealed that the suspect and victim⁣ had a prior working relationship,” stated the police in a press release.

“The victim had arrived at the suspect’s residence to shoot a rap video,” the police continued. “At that moment, the ​suspect brandished a handgun ‌with⁢ an extended magazine and demanded the victim to‍ transfer money to‍ an ⁣unknown account through a money transfer service. Fearing for his life, the victim ‍complied. ​The suspect also forced the victim to empty his pockets.”

“The suspect has been identified as Taurean Bartlett,” confirmed the police. “Taurean is a talented musician who goes by the stage name ‘Trench Baby.’

Following the incident, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for ⁢Taurean Bartlett and a search‍ warrant for​ his ⁣residence.

“Further intelligence led detectives to believe that the suspect might be staying with his brother, Taurus Bartlett,” explained the​ police. ⁣”Taurus is also a musician known ⁣in the industry as ‘Polo G.’

On Wednesday, detectives‍ successfully located and apprehended both brothers.

“Detectives executed a search warrant, which included the residence where Taurus Bartlett was staying,” revealed the police. “During the search, numerous⁤ firearms were recovered from⁤ both locations, as well​ as from a vehicle registered to Taurus ‌Bartlett.”

Both Taurean and Taurus Bartlett have been booked at the Van Nuys Jail, pending further investigation.
