The Dark Truth About Transgender Prisoners
The latest data on transgender prisoners reveals a disturbing reality that trans activists and LGBT supporters don’t want to acknowledge.
According to a report by the Daily Caller, a shocking 50 percent of prisoners claiming to be “transgender” in Wisconsin’s prison system were convicted of sex crimes.
This data, compiled by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project, brings to light the dark truth about transgenderism that left-wing supporters refuse to acknowledge.
The documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request reveal that out of the 161 transgender prisoners in Wisconsin’s prisons in 2022, a staggering 81 of them have convictions for sex crimes.

Mike Howell, director of the Heritage Foundation Oversight Project, emphasized that the transgender issue goes beyond women in sports, which is often the context people are comfortable discussing. He stated, “This data shows a much uglier truth, that sexual crime and transgenderism are linked.”
This revelation comes at a time when numerous lawsuits have been filed by male prisoners claiming to be ”transgender women” who are suing for the right to be housed in all-female prisons.
Critics argue that placing transgender “women” in all-female prisons creates a dangerous environment for sexual assaults. The data from Wisconsin’s prison system seems to support this concern.
Howell firmly believes that men should be incarcerated with men only, stating, “Putting sex offender men claiming to be women in cells with women is another reason the world laughs at America’s moral decline. Prison is for punishment, not degenerate sexual behavior.”
According to Western Journal, inmates convicted of sex offenses may have committed crimes such as sexual exploitation of a child, sexual exploitation by a therapist, forced viewing of a sexual act, rape, sexual intercourse without consent, incest, sexual intercourse with a child, indecent behavior with a child, enticing a child, and more.
While the data does not specify whether prisoners had multiple convictions for sex crimes or if any of the crimes occurred while they were incarcerated, the high number of sex-crime convictions challenges the woke left’s claim that transgender individuals are universally harmless.
Left-wing supporters of radical transgenderism consistently deny any suggestion that transgender people have a higher likelihood of being sexual predators. Just recently, Rolling Stone magazine criticized rocker Alice Cooper for perpetuating the “widely debunked myth” that transgender individuals are prone to committing sex crimes when he spoke out against the “teen fad” of gender dysphoria.
In an interview with Stereogum, Cooper expressed his understanding of individuals feeling they were born as the ”wrong gender,” but also voiced concerns about the liberal push for transgenderism leading many teenagers to fall for a “fad.”
Cooper’s remarks were met with backlash from Rolling Stone, who dismissed his words as perpetuating a “myth.”
However, the data from Wisconsin’s prison system, which reveals that half of its transgender prisoners were incarcerated for sex crimes, contradicts the claims made by leftists, including Rolling Stone, that transgender people are entirely “normal” and safe to be around. Clearly, this is not entirely true based on the Wisconsin prison data.
The truth behind transgenderism appears to be far more sinister than the airy claims of its supporters.
